I need headphones that will block out outside noise like people talking, bus noise, TVs etc... Would noise-cancelling headphones or in-ear buds work best? How would they compare to just plain old ear-plugs? I have a decent sony pair of in-ear buds and ear plugs already, but not sure if noise-cancelling phones would work better

How to repair headphones when one side is weaker than the other?

My headphones fell down and now one side is weaker than the other. Any way to repair them?

Sadly it sounds like one of 2 things. You either destroyed the connection between he driver and the wire or the driver it self is damaged. It sounds like it may be time for a new pair as repairing them could cost you just as much as a new set. sorry for the loss! If you are comfortable opening them up to see if its a loose connection you can take a look at how to fix them here:
