Headphones?

fjhikfyuj

I need a good pair of headphones for my ipod. I've already had two of the original that came with it and they both broke. (It's a first gen ipod nano) I would like them to be either white or purple and have good sound quality. Do you know of any good brands?
whats wrong with skull candy?

Answer
JVC Marshmallows. You can buy them new on ebay for a bit under 20$

and btw STAY AWAY FROM SKULLCANDY.
Horribly overrated and they break/stop working randomly and easily. My friend just learned the hard way and my marshmallows still work.

how well are jvc harx300 headphones?

Nicky

So i had a pair of jvc flats for about a year or 2 and i thought they were great, i was able to pull on the cord (not on purpose of course) and they didn't break until one day i accidentally yanked them so hard one side broke. My point is i was very happy with them but now that my coby headphones broke after like 2 months from a crappy cord i want another pair of jvc headphones but i want ones that are sound proof and cheap and I'm considering jvc harx300 but i need know all of these
bass sound
durability of the headphones AND the cord
and how long did they last anyone you know who has had them? or if still working please say for how long??

Answer
The durability of the head phones are very good but there is a downfall or a weak point where the actual headphones connect to the plastic piece that goes over the top of your head tends to be the point where they break when they do finally break and the plastic head piece doesn't have padding so after an hour or so you will have to slightly adjust it so they don't hurt. On the flip side the cord is tough and the part of the earphones that actually go over your ear is very comfortable and isolates the sound very well they also produce nice clear sound and a little above average bass which is always good! Lastly my friend Kyle has had his pair for i think almost two years now and likes them a lot! so especially for there 10-20 $ price range they are great choice of headphones!

What's the difference between noise canceling headphones and power isolation headphones?

Alexis

Answer
I'm going to assume that you're asking about the difference between passive noise-cancelling and active-cancelling headphones.

Passive noise-cancelling headphones block out sound by having good isolation around your ear and physically blocking out external sound.

Active noise-cancelling headphones create sound waves to cancel out external sound. This requires batteries, reduces sound quality and, for some people, introduces an audible high-frequency hiss.

best over-the-ear headphones for the price?

Brian

i am in the market fora good over-the-ear headset. im looking for a few things, noise cancellation (or if not possible with what im asking for than isolation will do), amazingly good sound (everything is near-perfect, not too much base, no distortion, things like that), little to no sound leakage (i like to listen to my music loudly. not loud to damage my ears but other than that, i dont want the whole room and/or people around me to hear what im listening to), and a comfortable design that looks and feels good (by that i mean i like to wear my headphones for an extended period of time and im going to be taking them out where ever i go, so i want them to be comfortable for long periods of time and if they can look stylish then by all means, show me).

ive been looking for quite sometime and ive seen headsets that are good in one range but are poor when it comes to something else. can anyone help me narrow my search?

please and thank you <( ^ . ^ )>

Answer
Hey, Brian

There is a wide selection of headphones available on the market right now, and for the most part, the quality of the craftmanship and sound will depend on the price that you are willing to spend. On the lower price range (less than $50), you will be able to find some no too shabby headphones that will be suitable for someone who is just planning to listen to music on their iPod or computer, and are not full fledged audiophiles. Once you get to the medium price range ($50-150), you will get a great selection of very high quality headphones that are going to be suitable for nearly everyone who is not involved with music professionally. The sound quality of these headphones are going to be top-notch, should cancel out almost all background noise, and are going to be of a quality craftmanship that will last for quite a long time. On the more expensive end of things ($150 and up), you are going to find professional quality headphones. For the normal person this will be complete overkill as they provide a quality of sound that is amazing, but is generally only sought after by professionals working on their own music (or the type of people who make sure their house is wired with the best speaker systems on the market).

Depending on the amount you are willing to spend, my top five recommendations (from cheapest to most expensive) would be:

Sennheiser HD 202 II Professional

http://headphones.respectablereviews.com/sennheiser-hd-202-ii-professional/

This model provides good insulation against background noise and has a solid bass range and response time. Perfect for someone who is wanting a cheap set of quality headphones.

Sennheiser RS120

http://headphones.respectablereviews.com/sennheiser-rs120/

These are very affordable for wireless headphones. They feature an open-ear system with a strong bass response. Because they are wireless, you don't even have to be in the same room as the device that is transmitting the sound, giving you ultimate flexibility while listening to music. Very lightweight and a high quality. I have this set for using around my house.

Sennheiser HD280 Professional

http://headphones.respectablereviews.com/sennheiser-hd-280-pro/

Here we are well into the midrange quality headphones. This set is corded, but provides a much higher sound quality than the RS120. They can provide up to 32 dB attenuation of outside noise, so you don't have to worry about much from background noise, even in somewhat noisy environments.

Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD

http://headphones.respectablereviews.com/beats-by-dr-dre-solo-hd/

These are on the high-end of the spectrum of headphones. They are very comfortable and are able to produce an amazing sound quality. If you're looking for something that is "in-style" and provides you with some of the best sounds that you can find at this price range, then these are the headphones for you.

Bose Quietcomfort 15

http://headphones.respectablereviews.com/bose-quietcomfort-15/

I use this set when I'm playing live venues. They are some of the best headphones you can get right now, are very comfortable while wearing for many hours at a time (even in hot, sweaty clubs), block out almost all background noise and provide nearly unmatched sound quality. For someone looking for professional quality headphones, or with a big budget looking for the best money can buy, then these are the headphones for you.

Overall, the most important thing while choosing the headphones, is the consider what you will be using them for and don't over estimate how much quality you will need. If you're looking for something to use on the bus or just while you're hanging out, listening to music, you probably don't need top of the line Bose. Good luck, Brian, and I hope you find the perfect set!

Answer
.You need not change the Messenger.Changing the Messenger is not going to solve the problem.
To enable Audibles, go to the top of the main Messenger window and click on "Messenger" and then "Preferences."

A window will appeared called "Yahoo! Messenger Preferences." Click on where it says "Messages."

Find the area labeled "Miscellaneous" and check the box next to where it says "Enable Audibles" and where it says "Always play audio when I send or receive Audibles."

Yahoo changed the sounds in YM8. You can replace the new sounds with the old ones.
This site explains how to replace the olds sounds.

Are you using window blinds or alien guise or some other window enhancement program? e.g. programs that add extra buttons like transparency and keep always on top or change the look of the windows in anyway (not including standard XP themes)
if so disable it and yahoo should work..
Do a search on http://www.wackyb.com for window blinds

Headphones similar to beats?

Jared

I can't afford beats and I know the whole reason they are $300 is because they are by Dre. What are some cheaper headphones with the same sound as beats.

Answer
I have Beats, yeah, they are expensive only because of the creator. My friend has "Stereo Headphones" that are just like 'em. I'm not sure where she got them from, but I know they're cheaper. They also last longer and the sound is just as good as Dr. Dre's.

How to make the Android audio louder through headphones?

Blayke

I have a Pantech Burst and it does NOT get loud enough in the headphones. I've tried pretty much every app in the Play Store, and the only one that actually boosted the sound distorted the bass. I need some help!
I'm using the Apple EarPods, so I know the headphones aren't the problem because they work fine with everything else.

Answer
Your headphones are probably not getting enough power. Your best bet is to get a headphone amp (a portable one like the Fiio E6 is pretty cheap:
http://www.amazon.com/Fiio-E6-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B005HJWWW8). This will give your headphones some more power (I think it increases voltage, and thus increases gain).

The problem could also be your headphones (possibly broken, or the impedance is too high), so you can try replacing those as well.

Or, run your headphones from a different source that will provide it with more power.

If you need more info, you can email me at: ortle@rocketmail.com

Best IEM headphones under $150 EBAY?

Brett

what are some good iem headphones under for under about $150 used on ebay? I want good bass and Noise isolation and will be using them for exercising. I looked at the sennheiser ie 80 but they don't have good isolation.
I listen to rock like seether and hollywood undead and others.

Answer
See to it if the IE 80 is good. And if it is original. And the IE 80 has good isolation (not the best, but its good). IE 80 is the best of the best in the Sennheiser product line of earphones.

Try Sennheisers, Shures, AKGs, Grados, Beyerdynamics, Etymotics, ATHs, Bose. These are better and some are cheaper (although Bose is expensive). Sennheiser is the most affordable, I think. I own a bunch of Sennheisers (HDs 201, 280 PRO, 428 and 448) and they sound way better than Beats.

So don't buy Beats. Here's why:

Beats are just overpriced fashion accessories. Same goes to Skullcandy, Soul by Ludacris, etc. They're sh^t. I have friends who are audiophiles. I also have friends who are gullible, and they have Beats, Soul by Ludacris and Skullcandy. When we got together to compare our headphones, I compared my Sennheiser HD 280 PRO to a Beats Pro, and the Beats was just blown away. And you won't believe it, my HD 280's worth $99.99 (I bought it at that price) and the Beats Pro is like, $300ish? Its not worth the money.

Oh, and don't tell me that I am cheap/jealous. I have Beats Studio and Pros too, so, yeah I'm not cheap/jealous :)). I already sold my Studios.

Good brands:
Sennheisers, Shures, AKGs, Grados, Beyerdynamics, Etymotics, ATHs, Bose

Piece of Crap brands:
Beats, Soul by Ludacris, Skullcandy, etc. Although there are some exceptions in Skullcandy.

Can anyone suggest good headphones for rock music?

Chaoran Z

Looking to buy a new pair of headphones. I listen mostly to hard/progressive rock (ie Led Zeppelin, Boston, Pink Floyd, etc.).

Answer
I listen to the same kind of music as you :)
I have a pair of Sennheiser CX 300-II:
http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_en.nsf/root/private_headphones_classic-line_cxseries-in-ear-earphones-cx-300-ii?Open&path=private_headphones_mp3_classic-line

They're in-ear headphones, they're quite bassy but still great for ROCK :)

Although I prefer my other pair, the Sennheiser MD428:
http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_en.nsf/root/private_headphones_hifi_wired-headphones_502765

They're headphones which go over your ears. They are GREAT, it feels like Pink Floyd is playing right beside you :)

Sennheisers can get quite pricey, but they're well worth it for the sound quality!

Hope I helped!

Best Headphones for Rock/Metal punk music?

Kevin

So im really hoping to find a good pair of headphones that sound really good with the genres of Nu-metal, Alternative, Rock, Punkrock.

Max budget would be around $300 and some headphones ive already tried which i think are good but cant be sure are the Bose qc15's and bose ae2w's.

I love the noise cancelling on the qc15's even though im not a frequent traveler, its a nice feature, and the bluetooth is nice on the ae2w's but i dont know bout the 7hour battery life, Ae2ws sound ok with the kinda music i listen to and I couldnt try the qc15's since at best buy i cant plug my own phone into them

Other wise lots of people say the Vmoda m100's have good bass and crisp clear highs and lows

Any other headphones out there that you can possibly recommend that sound good with the music i like? maybe a link to a youtube review

Answer
I would send you in the direction of the V Moda...they are a safe bet for your taste in music.

You might want to have a look at the Denon AH-D600 though...great price right now, not the best option for 'portability'...it's a big solid heavy headphone and worth a mention.

http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/headphones/denon-ah-d600-review-50010746/

Just to support the answer below...I personally use the Sennheiser HD25 ii and occasionally plug them into the Sony MW600 bluetooth headset - it isn't the most stylish of headphones and paired with the MW600 it isn't that expensive...the sound is amazing. I tend not to recommend my own cans unless it is stressed that they don't care about styling and durability is more important...that's exactly why I chose them. The sound isolation on the HD25 is pretty good too.

Which headphones to buy?

Tushar

Hi all...m looking to buy a pair of headphones...i have narrowed down to sennheiser mx 580 and the JBL tempo on ear headphones...which one should i go for?? any other suggestions are also welcome....

Answer
For the record, you can take cantelina's opinion with a grain of salt because he copies and pastes that stupid uninformative paragraph on every headphone video.

I will actually be ANSWERING your question now.

It is very tricky to decide between these two because the JBL's have an on-ear design, and the sennheiser's have an in-ear design.

In terms of pure sound quality, I have to advise you to go with the JBL's.
Bigger drivers means a more full and balanced sound, and in-ear earbuds generally are very distorted and weak, even made by the legendary Sennheiser brand.

If you are willing to spend about $40, I really reccomend the ATH-SJ11BK's made by Audio Technica, another reputable headphone and audio brand.

These will offer the best and most balanced, undistorted sound of the headphones you mentioned, check out the link below.

What headphones should I buy?

Jonathan

Hi I'm going to be a freshman in college this fall and I am really lost searching for a new pair of headphones and I was curious if someone with more expertise could help. I am looking at a pair of over the ear/on the ear headphones in the below $200 price range if available. I really am into music (listening, not making) so I want these cans to be the best bang for the buck in terms of computer/iPod listening (preferably wide range of listening, not bass heavy like beats). At the same time as quality I would like to have something that I wouldn't look stupid walking around in (i.e. really bulky, really large cord, ect.). Please let me know which headphones to consider and where is the best place to buy them. Thank you!!!
-Jonathan

Answer
Don't buy beats (or skullcandy) thats why they're in BestBuy and Futureshop to begin with - they're for everyday consumers (often uneducated about the product).

I can't consider much other than looking for reviews. Headphones is mostly personal choice. Its quite subjective. You should spend some time and research to see what people think.

As for a place to check some out. Sony has some decent headphones in their physical Sony Store. Other then that, you might wan't to look at specialized audio/video stores.

Good Luck

theres a pic of the sound thing if that matters......

ok at first wen i upgraded my speakers didnt work and only way i could get sound was through the headphone jack, but wen i upgraded my driver the headphone jack stopped working.

any help please

im semi decent at computer language so simpler is better but complicated wont hurt that bad
typo. its the headphone jack on the front of the computer. sorry

Answer
Is the header for the front panel audio connected to the mobo correctly? Did you download Windows 7 audio drivers from the website for your system? If your mobo/system is 5 years old or older then the on board sound may not support Windows 7. I have run into that on a couple of older system upgrades. You may have to buy a PCI sound card and install it.

Update: I looked on the HP website and they don't have windows 7 drivers for your system.

Updated from windows 7 no long have Headphone drivers help!?

Okay so basically i've upgraded to windows 7,what a let down
I've had to instal several drivers already and im struggling to find a driver for my headphones which are skull candy
I've checked everything through system settings, even windows media player so that its meant to come through the head phones and nothing, anyone got any suggestions, would be very greatful
Earphones arent coming up thats why I know I need a driver, its only showing me "Digital audio device" on the playback menu,I tried the skullcandy website and nothing worked there,I have no idea if there is a general driver for headphones rather than doing a specific one

Answer
In the lower right corner (the Systray), right-click on the speaker icon. Then left-click Playback Devices. Then right-click Headphones and left-click Enable. No drivers needed.
-------- EDIT ---------------
Are you sure the headphones still work? Do they work with some other playback device?
Or maybe the headphone jack is disconnected from the motherboard. There should be a Line Out jack (probably on the back of the tower). Plug the phones in there. It won't sound right, but if they play at all it has to mean the headphone jack is malfunctioning.
Do you have a different set of headphones, which are known to be good, that you could try with W7.

Some of the SkullCandy phones have an on/off switch and volume control in the headphone cable. Those things are always trouble makers. Are you sure that switch is on and the volume up?

I can't imagine headphones needing a driver since they're such simple devices.
I assume you have the headphone volume turned up above zero.

*Depends on surface used

and then you can find the headset Barracuda HP online on ebay or amazon pretty cheap like $50.

About your overpriced thing i mean if you are a gamer and have all regular things like a factory keyboard and mouse then you will notice a HUGE difference when you play with gaming accessories. The mamba is $120 but i mean its worth it to be playing with a wireless mouse meant for gaming. Gaming headphones for $50 is pretty damn good price and the keyboard can be a little pricey but i got my tarantula for around $50. It just depends if you want to be a serious gamer or not. But seeing how you have a Quad core for gaming i recommended you buy razer.

headphones?

max n

i'm looking for new headphones for my ipod nano, they need to have good sound quality, high volume(very very loud, loud enough for metal) durability and good looks(it's best if they come in black), in this order of importance....or maybe i should put durability first....anyway i want quality, i prefer earbuds, plain, if they have to go around the ear at least make them big(example:KOSS ksc75, something i was considering), thx:D

Answer
Consider JVC marshmallows or V-Moda Bass freqs. Just look on amazon and check them out. And btw stay away from skull candy.

JVC or skullcandy? (on ear headphones)?

Ben

Im looking for a new pair of on-ear headphones in the 35-75 dollar price range. I'm stuck between JVC and skull candy. Which brand is better (I use to have hesh skull candy headphones but they broke so I'm not sure about the quality of skullcandy anymore)

Answer
Go with JVC. A few months ago I bought a pair of in-ear JVC headphones featuring a remote for around $12. They are great quality, clarity and the outer skin on the wire is smooth, thick and non-tangle prone. I bought Skull Candy a year ago and they broke within a week. JVC headphones are very good and are the best quality I've come across so far.

Good headphones for running?

thereasonf

Whenever I try to listen to my ipod while running the earphones always fall out of my ears no matter how securely they are fastened. I typically use the Apple white headphones or similar styles. What are some good earphones that won't budge?

Answer
I would say go with the MEElectronics Sport Fi S6 InEar Sports Headphone System,

it has memory that wire conforms to the ear, they're very good for running , Be aware though, that they really isolate noise, so if you are outdoors, you won't hear cars, voices, etc. there are several sizes to choose from and the quality sound is really good.

Could sweat affect your music headphones when running?

Tony

It doesnt happen every time i run, but every night ill run on my treadmill with my headphones in listening to music, and then after i start sweating 10 minutes in, the left ear begins to become funky and the music seems to really dim out in terms of volume and the ear feels wet inside, but if i push on the earphone it will go back to normal, but then after a while once again it will clog up. I know it is no technical difficulty with my earphone since it works fine when im idle but is it just the sweat going into my ear and blocking the hearing? is there anyway to avoid this too?

Thanks

Answer
Most headphones are meant to withstand sweat, water in general. Of course, it depends on how much the headphones are exposed to. But if the sound is muffled while running, it's not because of any sweat you're making, but it's the dangling of the headphones which causes the sound to fluctuate.

Are there headphones that cancel outside noise very well?

Q. I mean noise of cars, boom boxes, kids bouncing balls on the streets, skateboards and so on...

Answer
Yes, there are two types: Passive noise cancellation (PNC) and Active noise cancellation (ANC).

Active noise cancelling uses electronics to disable sound, more-so the lower noises, something like 500Hz and under. Depending on how good the noise cancelling microphone is, ANC usually gives something like 25-40dB of noise cancellation. A good example of passive noise cancelling headphones would be the Audio-Technica ATHANC-7.

Passive noise cancelling is more associated with earbuds, which make a tight seal around the ear canal to block out ambient noise. The noise cancelling properties aren't limited to only the low frequencies. Some earbuds only give around 20dB of isolation, while canalphones can offer up to 40dB of isolation. A good example of noise cancelling earbuds are Etymotic MC-5.

Noise cancelling headphones?

Q. My dad sings like a strangled cat when he plays guitar and it's driving my sister nuts. I'm in college and I want to get her noise cancelling headphones so she can get some peace and quiet when she's studying. Any recommendations? We've tried earplugs before but she says she still hears the high pitched howling (haha). As for reasoning with him that's out of the question, he thinks he sounds great we've even taped him before.

Thanks!

Answer
the best noise cancelling headphones i know are from bose, they are super expencive though. but work like a charm. http://www.bose.com/controller?event=DTC_LINKS_TARGET_EVENT&DTCLinkID=2724&perfsourceid=k108600&src=k108600&OVMTC=standard&OVKEY=bose%20noise%20cancelling%20headphones&OVADID=2674799022&OVKWID=46527510522&OVRAW=bose%20noise%20cancelling%20headphones

i borrow my dad's pair and i can block out the entire world, the headphones create white noise which is why they are noise cancelling. they are the best but you do have to PAY for the best

Help with Headphones (Over-ear)?

Ken Scanlo

So my beats recently broke after about 4 years, and I need a new pair of headphones. I can't afford beats at the moment so those are out of the question but I should be able to afford a new pair in a few months so I don't want too spend a lot of money on a new pair. I have no idea what kind of headphones to buy though, I'm looking too only spend about $40 - $50, I've been looking at these but I've never used skullcandy

http://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-Hesh-Headphones-S6HEDZ-116-Black/dp/B004P1HW74/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1344718404&sr=1-4&keywords=over+ear+headphones

Answer
lol you want beats? seriously, they aren't worth 300 dollars. More like 30 dollars based on sound quality(terrible) and build quality(cheap plastic)

http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-WS55-BK-OVER-EAR-HEADPHONE/dp/B004UTSCW0

Get these. The Audio Technica ATH-WS55 on ear headphones. I have em and they are comfortable with a nice fun, sound signature. Very good bass too. There is a bass chamber behind the enclosure that provides fuller, richer bass. I'm sure you will like em.

Most over ears don't have the greatest sound quality, especially sealed headphones.

If you must have over ear, the Philips Fidelio L1 would be a great choice.

Those are ALL the best brands.

Are These Headphones In-Ear?

Q. Are the Sennheiser MX 85 Sport II Earphones in-ear headphones? I need to know cuz in-ear damages your hearing and i dont want that but these headphones are great for workouts so are they or are they like the apple headphones? Headphone links below.

Answer
In-ear headphones do no more damage to your ears than over-ear 'phones if you listen at a safe volume.

Anyway, to answer your question: yes, they're earbuds, so in-ear.

OMG DR DRE BEATS BEST HEADPHONES EVER??????????

dav

Just kidding. How can these so-called headphones be used? I see it only as a 'trendy' piece of fashion sh!t. Its colorful looks are just a marketing trick. When it comes to sound, it's, let's say, much worse than good. Also, it starts to crack in a one hit, because they're made from cheap plastic. When will mentally challenged teens stop using these "Monster Beats"?

Answer
Beats are so overrated....there are other headphone that are just as stylish with a much lower price tag..not to mention better quality..

A question about headphones?

metalblakh

Ok, all the headphones I have ever owned the right side has gone out. I was wondering if it was because I had them in my pocket?

Answer
Headphones are made with a very small gauge copper wire which can break easily when abused. Being shoved into a pocket or wound too tight usually contributes to break in the wire - or a short. More expensive headphones have a thicker gauge which of course means better durability. There's a reason "good" headphones can reach upwards of $100!

Headphones for running, that won't break?

Leah G

I'm a runner, and always listen to music while I run. I go through a new set of headphones about 5 times a year. They just stop working...usually starting w/ the sound only coming in one ear, and then it stops altogether. Does anyone know of a brand of type of headphone that will last longer?

Answer
Honestly, they may only last so many months due to the sweat and wetness that they get from wear when running. What you describe as how the stop working is exactly what happens to mine- very annoying. I'd look for waterproof ones as well, that may help prolong the life of them so you're not having to replace so often.

I've had success with the Nike sport wrap around your ears headphones. They lasted for me at least 4 months. I actually need a new pair!

Good luck finding a pair that works for you.

Good headphones / earbuds to buy?

DPhFan

Hey

Im looking to buy a new pair of earbuds (the in ear kind.. not the big ones that go over your ears). I've tried zoo many types.. apple, sony , ibeats and they're all pretty bad. I am into running and want to find a pair that are meant for running / exercise, and maybe have a rope cord, instead of a plastic cord (I'm not actually sure if this is possible.. read somewhere that skull candy makes a pair like this but i don't know the model name)

can anyone help me?? thanks! :)

Answer
The Sony MDR-V6s were the first really good headphones I owned. After about 15 years of use, the foam padding was a bit run down. After doing the exhaustive search for the best headphones, I bought a pair of Sennheiser HD580s (I also own Etymotic ER-4Ps). Comparing the HD580 to my MDR-V6s, I would say that the MDR-V6s are better for two reasons. 1. The MDR-V6s are more
comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and 2. The MDR-V6s have a telephone-like cord, which is easier to deal with than the straight HD580 cord. The sound quality was very good on both headphones, and about equal. I ended up buying new foam pads for my 15-year-old MDR-V6s, which made them feel like brand new headphones. I also bought a second pair of MDR-V6s, and shelved the HD580s for now.

Rudrasinh

Let it be under 4000rs and of good bass and clear sound I wanted to go for jbl but suggest me any better it can be any over the ear or in the ear but it must be good and supporting HTC one x and it would be better if is available on flipkart if not still suggest

Answer
NEVER get beats. They are none thing but overrated and overpriced garbage. The other person suggest beats but don't get them. Beats are TERRIBLE headphones. I would think a person that knows anything about REAL sound quality would NEVER get beats. Beats have TERRIBLE sound quality and durability so don't waste your money on them. If you want GREAT sound quality and durability then get sony headphones. The sony mdr v55 headphones have great sound quality and durability. They are $80 but they are worth every penny and I really doubt you will regret the purchase.
