Q. I'm going to get some beats headphones, one pair are noise canceling, the other is noise isolation. What's the difference and what do you prefer?

Answer
well, basically its the same thing for you but (i think) that isolation means that the noise is isolated and that only you can hear the sound so people sitting close to you cant hear any noise coming from them. then noise canceling is were the sound and the pads together are anough to cancel noise around you but some noise does escape allowing others to hear the bass or whatever eles your headphones maybe be emmiting. this idea is based off the fact i have both isolation and canceling headphoned and with the isolation i cant hear anything eles but the music and people around me cant hear music at all but with the canceling othters can hear if its turned up at least halfway. i PREFER isolation headphones... and one last thing.... the beats are decent quality but you can get SOO much better for the same money, really a just for show thing i would recomend doing more reaserch .. try looking at AKG SONY or AUDIO TECHNICA.

Has anyone tried out the ibeats headphones by dr dre?

More specifically so, "iBeats In-Ear Noise Isolation Headphones with Control-Talk" or any in-ear iBeats. I've heard wonderful things about the headphones as far as quality but do they stay in your ears while you run? I run cross country so obviously headphones staying in my ears are a necessity. So, do the iBeats stay in? or, Does anyone know of quality headphones that do stay in whilst running? Thanks!

Answer
Ignore cantilen shes a self proclaimed audiophile,if she really was she wouldn't say B&W is a good brand and koss is bad.As for your question they ain't worth the price and don't stay in your ear that well.If you want a good in ear the yamaha eph100 is a good choice, they sound better, more comfy and are well built(ive dropped them quite a few times and had them or a year and a hal so far).If you want an actual headphone then the Sennheiser hd25-1 ii is good,I use it for when I exercise.
