If you know of any better headphones for the price i would like to know those too

Answer
The J2 is bass-heavy at the expense of clarity and resolution. It sounds a little muddy and lacks 'space'. Fine for $15 but the MSRP is very excessive. The J3 is treble-heavy. The bass is tight and controlled. The mids are a littlle underemphasized and not nearly as warm as those of the J2. The treble is quite prominent and can sound a little 'metallic'. Again, not bad for $30 but the $80 MSRP is way over the top.

In the $20-30 range I can recommend the Meelectronics M9. Very good bass and treble. Not the most refined sound but they're fun to listen to. In the $10-15 range I can recommend the Earsquake SHA (you can find them on ebay). They're made by a Taiwanese company that also makes earphones under the Skullcandy brand and many others but of course doesn't mark its own products up nearly as much.

What microphone should I get and why?

Jun

I would like to get a microphone for various purposes like recording my self for videos and such. But i dont know which to get. A few I have looked at are the Blue Yeti, Snowball and the CAD audio U37. I would like to get the yeti but I'd like to get something under about $80 and as a set. The yeti alone is $80 but the other two come with condensers(i think thats what theyre called) and a headphone(i have one already but an extra couldnt hurt). But honestly what do you recommend and why, what are the pros in comparison to all the other mics there are. Of course they dont have to be the three i mentioned above. PS. I have turtle beach x12 which are headphones with a mic are those any good therefore removing the purpose of even having to get a mic?
PSS by recording videos i mean Youtube primarily. Dont know if this will affect the decision but hope it helps

Answer
Any of those three will work great. Get one with a headphone jack if you can. That will allow you to monitor your recording directly.
