There is the steering wheel interface, and the wiring harness REQUIRED to do the install, including dash kit, and other accessories. Now, to the radio. There are a ton of awesome radios out there, like Alpine, JVC, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion to mention a few.. If I were you, I would sit down with your girlfriend, and go to www.crutchfield.com, and start looking and making a list of important features you want, ( & most importantly budget) like Sat. Radio, or Navigation, or usb/3.5mm headphone jack input, or both, a wireless remote, mp3 playback, etc. etc. etc.. Then after you pick your radio you can buy from them, which I use as there are no shops around here, and order the radio, kits, and all the parts you need/want. Also, it's a good way to have a project together, as you can both do the install. ( If you run into a snag, they can walk you thru the entire install, step by step, plus free shipping, and lot's of other free goodies, including a free phone call :) )
Make it a decision together, and enjoy the install, plus the feeling of doing it your self is worth it ( Not including the money saved, to go out to dinner with..)
Good Luck, and enjoy!!
