Headphones!!! Suggestions!?

Carsmypets

Hi guys i am buying new headphones and dont know which one to buy
can u suggest some?

price range is (preferably) up t0 $100 but if absolutely nesecary will got up to 150( but lets not)!

So i like listening to Electronic, dubstep (UKF and Skirllex) and Alternative (Metal) (Linkin Park, Three days grace).

I am looking for headphones the isolate the outside noise (like all of it if possible), and have a removable cord, just in case the cord breaks. ( also i would like if they did not run on batteries, but if they do no problem)

I also want good frequency range and want them to sound amazing ( close to bose or beats)!!!

Well thank you and hope that you can help me !!! :D
Price RANGE UPDATE--- upto $120

i'm not an expert of budget stuff, so i recommend checking out:
http://www.head-fi.org/a/headphone-buying-guide
and
http://www.head-fi.org/t/433318/shootout-101-portable-headphones-reviewed-skullcandy-mix-master-added-04-06-12
and
the rest of head-fi.
Use the search function. that site has the best info on headphones in the world. You will also see that they hate beats, bose, and most of the skullcandy line since they are overpriced for their sound quality.

honestly, a detachable cable on a good headphone is hard to find at that price. i can only recommend these headphones, all of which are over your price range, save more money perhaps?
audio technica m50
ultrasone hfi-580
v-moda m80(on ear, and has a detachable cable.)

best headphones ever?

Can someone please tell me the best headphones headphones for rock music? I need some that is VERY VERY VERY HD/HQ and also can go all the way up without all the fuzz from the bass or whatever's creating it and also i like to listen to my music on max volume but it disturbs the people around me so also it has to be noise cancelling or block the sound from escaping so people can't hear it? is there any headphones capable of this? and i don't care about the price it could be $399 or $699 i don't really care and also some people recommend Beats,Bose,Audio Technica ATH-M50 and Shure SRH-840,are any of these good? or are there better ones? plz tell me :)

Answer
visit this link! look at the closed headphones, definitely NOT the open ones.

Get the ones that have good(smooth or forward) mids, not recessed. the reason for this is that guitars fall in that sound spectrum. Rock doesnt sound good with recessed mids.

for portables:
http://www.head-fi.org/t/433318/shootout-102-portable-headphones-reviewed-panasonic-rp-htf600-added-04-29-12

suggestions:
v-moda m80
sennheiser hd25-1ii
beyerdynamic dt1350
audio technica ath-m50
denon d2000/d5000
Shure SRH-840/940

theres a guy here that said grados. Theyre good for rock, but they leak out like their drivers are facing outwards because of their open design. Yes, they leak that much. You dont even have to play your music loud for everyone to hear it, just like with all open headphones. Grados are best used at home, or really low volumes outside.

don't get bose/skullcandy/beats. overpriced and no good for rock.
