What are some great earphones for Ipod Touch ?

c.Sky03

Im looking for an awesome pair of earphones , which ones should i get ? Im willing to spend around 60 dlls, any suggestions ? Any specific brands ? (Earphones only, no headphones please).
EDIT: Im asking this because the ones that come with the actual ipod sound kind of crappy, i need a pair that sound loud and clear.

Answer
i absolutey DISAGREE with musicalone8123. Earphones don't sound CRAP, it's what earphones you get, and what you churn out of it. If you for ever are only going to play some crappy Music files into it, then they'll always sound crappy but anyways. I have had countless pairs of earphones and headphones, and i have to say, earphones have gone a FAR FAR way from what they used to be. The first pair of earphones that pop inot my head before ANY under 60 dollars is the Creative Ep-630, They are $20-$30, Powerful Lows, Decent mids and highs. These are designed for bass, so if you're using it with an ipod, you want to turn the EQ to TREBLE BOOSTER, or your music will be drowned out by the bass. For a Budget of $60, i would have to say that that's the best you can go, cuz, if you want BETTER SOUNDING earphones, you're just a bit short. for $80, you can have a pair of Ultimate Ears Metro Fi 2, or Altec Lansing UHP306 (Improved version of Metro Fi 2). and For $90-$100, you can have a pair of Ultimate Ears Super Fi 3 Studio,Shure Se110, Altec lansing UHP336. Also, when coming to the Music Producer in the Earphones, i would try to Balanced Armature Drivers, but sadly, these are only present in Top of the Line earphones which are Expensive for the Average Listeners.

I would try to stay away from Sony, Panasonic, Phillips, and those "BRAND NAMES" because, the Sony MDR series does sound pretty decent, but for the price, they are not worth it. Some Brands that i highly recommend are Shure, Ultimate Ears, Westone, Creative (Only for the reason of the Ep-630, nothing else), and Altec Lansings Upgrader Series.

(ALL PRICES ARE RETAIL PRICES)

Earphones i highly recommend:
Creative Ep-630-$20-$30-100% recommendation
These are slightly over but, if you can find these on the internet for around your price, Then i HIGHLY recommend these.

UE=Ultimate Ears

UE Metro Fi 2-$80-Precison Dynamic Driver/Earphone
Altec Lansing-$80-Precision Dynamic Driver/Earphone
ShureSe110-$100-Single Balanced Armature Driver/Earphone
UE Super Fi 3 Studio-$90-$130-Single Balanced Armature Driver/Earphone
Altec Lansing UHP336-$130-Single Vented Balanced Armature Driver/Earphone

When you want to go Above an Beyond...
Shure Se530 (My Current)-$500-Triple Balanced Armature Drivers/Earphone
UE Triple Fi 10 Pro-$400-Triple Balanced Armature Driver/Earphone
Shure Se420-$400-Dual Balanced Armature Drivers/Earphone
Westone Um2-$300-Dual Balanced Armature Drivers/Earphone
UE Super Fi 5 Pro-$250-Dual Balanced Armature Drivers/Earphone
Shure Se310-$300-Single Vented Balanced Armature Driver/Earphone
Shure Se210-$170-Single Precision Balanced Armature Driver/Earphone

Hope this has helped, good luck on finding YOUR pair.
