Headphone dilemma, are the sony pulses worth the price tag?

I'm trying to decide between the sony pulse, Audio-Technica ATH M50, Shure SRH840 or the AKG K 271 MK II. I would like an all purpose headphone, music, movies and gaming. Which model would be the best to purchase? I thought the sony headphone was a good all rounder with having srs, bluetooth and bass control. Would it just be worth getting a high end pair of standard headphones? The current headphones i'm using are the sony xb700. Thanks.

Sony is MEDIOCRE ONLY, so go for more reputable brands instead (Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica).

I'm looking for some good quality headphones for music production. I hear the Beats by Dr. Dre studios are excellent but break easily. Any suggestions?

Top 5 headphone in my mind ,Bose ,Skullcany ,Beats by Dr.Dre ,Sennheiser,Sony .But if you don't want Beats , make a research about other 4 brands. hope it help
