Good Headphones for Video Editing?

Ben

Using them in a class. They need to have clear crisp sound, and minimal noise leakage and good noise cancellation. And they can't be to hard on my wallet.

Answer
It depends what you preferred (closed-back / opened-air, headphones / buds etc.).

If you want decent quality for a cheap price - look into Sennheiser (models HD 201, HD202, HD203, HD205 II and beyond - depends on your budget).
Another maker to look for will be Audio Technica (ATH-M20, ATH-M30, ATH-M40SF, ATH-M35, etc.).

Best headphones under $100 for video editing?

I'm looking for a new set of on-ear headphones. Something for video editing (with some audio work) on a Mac Pro. I've looked at Sennheiser and Audio Technica, but there are so many choices Does anyone have any suggestions specific to this situation?
I'd like something with the best sound quality possible in this price range. Definitely want on-ear (not in) as I've said. Sound cancelling's not a huge deal, as it's pretty quiet where I work.

Answer
Go to the Heil audio web site at

www.heilsound.com

Bob Heil was the audio guy for the Eagles, so he really knows his audio. He has a very complete line of earphones.

Good Luck and have fun - 73 from the Fisherman
