My personal favorite are the skullcandy ink'd in-ear headphones which retail for around $20. Although they have good sound quality for the price, I must warn you that they are not super durable, and might break after 3-4 months. However, they have a lifetime warranty, so that really isn't a problem, but if you can live without your headphones for 3-4 weeks, buy two pairs from f.y.e, where they are around like $12 each.

Best pair of in-ear headphones between 20 and 30 dollars?
Q. I'm thinking about Christmas presents and i could use a pair of earbuds. Does anybody have any recommendations for less than 30 dollars?

Lots of good earphones out there that you don't have to pay too much for . For my everyday earphone I'm using a VSonic GR02 Bass Edition which is currently about $35 on amazon. Great bass but also very clear. For you I would recommend the Philips SHE3580 or 3590 (same thing) - super cheap and has very good reviews even on audiophile forums - way better than many sets costing many times more.
My other recommendation would be check out user and expert reviews on the audiophile forum head-fi.org . Some very knowledgeable people there. It has some good earbuds organized by sound and price - just find the best ones in your budget that are also available in your local stores.
