How to wear headphones while running?

Q. ok so i dont have a job and i buy cheap headphones at target which are only $10. The left earbud is already going on and off when i move around, its so annoying. So what would be the best way to wear headphones while going for a jog, for instance, should i have the cord between me and my shirt or on the outside. and should i put the excess hanging cord line in my pocket that my phone is in or just let the cord hang and move around? i want to eliminate or lessen the earbud from dying out.

Answer
Well cheap headphones do have problems. Especially right where the phones plug into the music player.

I also buy cheap headphones. I get the over-the-ear kind for $10 at CVS or Walgreens. Colby and Sony both make some $10 over the ear headphones that are nice and light and don't have really long cords. If the pads rot, Radio Shack had replacement pads. I usually get a year or two from mine.

I think over-the-ear headphones are the best. Unlike earbuds they don't slip out because of all the jogging; they allow ambient noise in thru the sides so you can still be aware of your surroundings; you don't have the sound of the cable bumping against things being transmitted directly to your ear drums; and when it's cold, they keep your ears warm.

I keep my iPod in my short's pocket, and I put the headphone on backwards and let the cord go down my back. But I've seen lots of people who run the cable under their shirt. I guess you should also look for headphones that don't have really long cords.

Would These headphones be good for Running?

Q. Im going to purchases these headphones: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Wireless-Headphones-Headset-Cancellation/dp/B008NMWBBS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=15Z80HZ35LO5J&coliid=I3CNBMJN36T8MW

But im not sure if they will be good for running, like I dont want them to slim off or irritate me?
Thanks

Answer
Hi, that kind of headphones isn't good for running, the best are : "earphones" , why this? because it has sound isolation when you put them in your ears, that kind of headphone you wish to buy is open air, it means you can hear all external sounds and the music you listen, so you have to volumen up to listen your music but trust me your ears will have a seriously pain with time; any earphone more than $50.00 is worth it, and perhaps you'll never use another cheap headset because the sound quality, you can find a lot of them in amazon, brands recommended: sennheiser, sony, panasonic. Also you can find bluetooth version of earphones, just have to find the best for your needs: more battery life
