You should get the 3DS.

Because you can play music (even with the system close).

You can LOWER the VOLUME of 3D so it does NOT give you headaches for the first time in your life (if you're the kind of person to ever get headaches from 3D, otherwise just turn the 3D all the way up).

And you can also turn the 3D OFF Completely.

And 3D is good for working out your eye muscles & brain to keep them in shape as shown in this link:

What are the best headphones for 3DS?

I've been looking at headphones for awhile, but I still haven't found any perfect for my 3DS. I want a headset (or ear buds!) that is comfortable to wear, has crystal clear sound (or close to that), and is able to make the volume much higher since the 3DS has very low sound. Most importantly, I want the headphones to be innovative to my experience so that I get sucked into the video game I'm playing easily.

If you know any headphones that do anything I wrote above, could you suggest them for me? Thanks so much!

sony makes good headphones, i like these: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-Q68LW-Clip-Headphone-Retractable/dp/B000PCF7A6/ref=dp_ob_title_ce they have good sound & clips on the ears good. there's buttons on the side to wind up the wire like a tape measure

there's not really any headphones that makes the 3ds sound louder i've looked (even in line volume controls don't work). but if you get headphones that go over the ears & block out sound then you can hear it better. these are really good but they cost a little more than earclips: http://www.sears.com/nakamichi-780m-over-the-ear-headphones-metallic-edition/p-05728684000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1 these have alot of good reviews and they have good bass. you can use the mic button as a remote for the 3ds if your listening to music too
