Help with Headphones (Over-ear)?

Ken Scanlo

So my beats recently broke after about 4 years, and I need a new pair of headphones. I can't afford beats at the moment so those are out of the question but I should be able to afford a new pair in a few months so I don't want too spend a lot of money on a new pair. I have no idea what kind of headphones to buy though, I'm looking too only spend about $40 - $50, I've been looking at these but I've never used skullcandy

Answer
lol you want beats? seriously, they aren't worth 300 dollars. More like 30 dollars based on sound quality(terrible) and build quality(cheap plastic)

Get these. The Audio Technica ATH-WS55 on ear headphones. I have em and they are comfortable with a nice fun, sound signature. Very good bass too. There is a bass chamber behind the enclosure that provides fuller, richer bass. I'm sure you will like em.

Most over ears don't have the greatest sound quality, especially sealed headphones.

If you must have over ear, the Philips Fidelio L1 would be a great choice.

Please don't buy into celebrity endorsements. They only want to pit pocket the public.

Answer
In-ear headphones do no more damage to your ears than over-ear 'phones if you listen at a safe volume.

Anyway, to answer your question: yes, they're earbuds, so in-ear.
