Im looking foward to buying a over-the-ear headphones and wanted some help narrowing down my search.
What are some good Headphones that:
-Has excellent bass
-good comfort and not tight
-comfortable for those with glasses
-high quality sound
-durable
-noise cancelling
-around 50-150$ range
And are the Sennheiser HD 555/595 or any type of Sennheiser Brand really tight fitting?
-And also no sound leakage
Answer
Don't purchase Sennheiser, they only produce the most headphones not the most optimal headphones. I have converted the $150 in pounds - you are willing to spend a maximum of £100. I will recommend to Sony headphones.
The Sony MDR XB700 - has a 50mm driver and a response bandwidth of 3hz - 28000hz/28khz, it has a circumaural ear coupling and the oversized leather urethene ear padding. Circumaural - is headphones that your ear an fit into - over ear. £65
A driver is made of a magnet - the larger that driver, the louder and clearer the sound. 50mm is one of the loudest you can find. Therefore the bass will be reproduced remarkably. Almost all headphones (over-ear/on-ear) leak anyway - it doesn't matter if it does. If people can hear it, should you let that bother you?
The response bandwidth or frequency response - is how you determine the accuracy or definition of the play back. 20hz - 20000hz - e.g. - this is your basic frequency most bad headphones have - the smaller the first number the deeper the bass - ^^^ SOny MDr xB700 has 3hz. The higher the second number the clearer the treble. the Mdr xb700 has 28000hz.
I will suggest another headphone. The Sony MDR V700 - this has a similar specification to the one above but has clearer treble. This particular headphones is worth £85.
I strongly recommend the Sony MDR XB700 - excellent playback of the bass for something so cheap.

Looking for in-ear headphones?

I am looking for a pair of In-Ear headphones with good sound quality and durability. I have had every pair of Skullcandy. I am looking in the $40-$60 price range.
I am kinda embarrassed to say it, but I am also someone that doesn't like headphones that look like crap. I am a Jazz guitarist. I listen to anything from folk to rap. Thanks.
