Headphones making echo!!!?

My new headphones are really weird they echo my music really badly and the actual music is louder that the person singing!!!
What's going on!?!?
Is there a settings thing I can go to or something?

Headphone brand?

Try going to settings on your iPod.
Scroll down to music and tap on it.
Tap on EQ and pick spoken word or whatever you want.
Just experiment.

Why do the companies make the headphones different lengths? For example, the left earbud(wire) is shorter than the right earbud(wire) by a lot. It makes me mad and pisses me off. Can you just please tell my why they do this!

They don't mean to make the headphones like that, unless headphone was made in a cheap factory.

how do i play itunes through my speakers while i have headphones plugged in?

i'd like to be able to play music from itunes through my computer's speakers while i have a mic plugged in to talk to friends over vent, skype, etc.

but, the music from itunes plays though the headphones, making it hard to hear them talk.

anyone know how to redirect the music from itunes to the speakers while still having the ability to hear and chat with my friends with a mic?

that is not possible. sorry get a mp3 player and plug it into the speakers. :P

If i have a £150 budget and I want to buy the best sounding headphones passable in or over the ear, what do I get? there are just so many makes and the makes are making there own different types of headphone make! it beets me why know one has asked this question yet! I listen to all types of music from classical piano pieces to death metal. so, wat'le it be boys?

Sennheiser's high end headphones sound fantastic. I've had a pair of Sennheiser HD-580s for about 10 years, and I really don't know what I'd do without them. Er, well, yes I do, I'd buy another.

They stopped making the HD-580s a few years back, but the HD-600 and 650 use the same form factor (but cost more)

They're comfortable enough to wear all day long (I wear them all day every day)

Headphones making weird noise when playing music?

whenever the music is louder the left headphone make a stat-icy/buzzing noise. They are ear buds, the JVC gummy headphones. I popped the speaker part out of the case and everything seems fine, is there any way to fix this, or do i have to buy new headphones?

Thats the little foil piece thats in there. Last time that happened i gave it a little "wack" until it stopped the noise. The foil in there is the thing makig the static noise

How do I get rid of feedback from my headphones?

I'm using a laptop and the sound quality of the speakers is poor. I have headphones, but when I wear them I constantly hear a wave of feedback. I can tolerate it but I'd prefer not to go deaf. All headphones make the same noise, so I know it's the laptop causing the problem. Restarting the computer seems to stop the feedback maybe 10% of the time. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do about this? Thank you

Turn down all of your recording volumes. Turn down all of the line volumes apart from master and wave.

Feedback is usually caused by a microphone being set too "high"
