Can Bluetooth headphones be regular headphones for phones?

Birdy Golf

I am going on a long trip and i don't want to disturb anyone with my music that is on my samsung phone. I was wondering if i could buy a bluetooth headset instead of headphones that are made for my phone. PLEASE HELP!!!
(p.s. it is not a smart phone)

Answer
The Bluetooth must support A2DP, which is what enables it to receive media audio from the phone, in addition to call audio. So ask a salesperson which ones have that.

headphones..?

ok first off...ive gone through like 6 pairs of headphones this year...and i allways thought it was the head phones.. but the headphones work perfectly in my stereo... so i was wondering if maybe for some odd reason,.. my computer could just only play thru 1 ear phone... bcuzz when i put the plug thing in all the way it plays the right ear phone and then when i take it out a lil..bit it plays the right..has this ever happened to anyone b4?

Answer
Get a stereo adapter, or maybe your sound card's jack is defective. If you are using a standard 1/8" stereo plug, it should work in the computer. Every standard stereo plug is a "ring-tip-sleeve" configuration. If you look at the headphone plug, it is divided in three sections. The tip or end of the plug is the contact to the left side of the headphones. Then there should be a band next which is the ring. That is the contact to the left side. The sleeve is the remainder of the plug. That is actually a common contact between left and right. It sounds like your adapter/headphone plug is not correct for the computer. Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. Either you have a defective jack in the sound card or you don't have the correct adapter for the headphones. Make sure the adapter/headphones has those 3 contacts. If everything is 1/8" there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

How do I stop my cat from chewing through my headphones?

How do I stop my cat from chewing through my headphones and phone chargers? I never had a cat in my many years that chewed on wires. It takes him less then a second to chew through my headphones. I've bought him toys and everything and he still keeps doing it. I tried spraying him with a water bottle telling him no and nothing is working. I feel like I'm going crazy because I go through headphones and phone chargers so quickly. I was told to get the bitter apple spray, but I'm being told by my family that the stuff doesn't work and that I should hit my cat when it chews on my wires. I don't want to hit my cat, I love him to much to do that, but I'm so mad at him for chewing through my wires. What can I do?
I do put my headphones and phone charger away at night its just when I have them out for a second he gets to it.

Answer
Hitting him will do nothing other than make him afraid of you. The mini-USB cables and some others (sounds like your headphones) have something in the vinyl that is very appealing to cats. The scent is drawing him to them. You can try a couple of things - one, is they make these covers meant to "neaten up" all the wires that are in back of your PC. I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond - it's called a cable cover kit. You run the wires through this tube thing, and cut it to size. That should work for the phone charger. Do try the bitter apple spray on your headphones - you can get that at any pet store. Option two is to wrap the cords with duct tape - that works, as it covers the scent of the cables, and is still pretty flexible (even if unattractive). That's what I had to to for the USB cable to my digital camera :(

what type of headphones does the Samsung Exclaim use?

i need to know what type of headphones my phone uses.. the plug is smaller than most jacks so im not sure.

Answer
it's a 2.5 mm headphone jack which is non-standard.

if you want to use a standard headphone (3.5 mm), you need an adapter.

I have a pure breed chiuaua, And she chews up EVERYTHING (In example, tooth brushes, headphone, phone chargers, phones, comforters, underwear, denim, shirts, cords, bottles and so much more!) I keep everything put up but she still somehow finds things to destroy. She has tons of chew toys food and water. I cant afford to keep replacing things, any ways I can stop it or when she'll grow out of it?

Thanks,
Baili.

Answer
How old is she?

You need to keep her leashed when you are home and tethered to you or in a crate when you are not. If she grabs an item that she should not have tell her drop it! and offer her a treat to get her to drop it. Trade for it. If she is eyeing up an item on the floor or something she shouldn't have, tell her 'leave it!" and leash correct her (gently, just a small tug to redirect her attention).

She won't just outgrow it. She needs to be trained.

Do I need any licenses and if so what kind?

I want to open up my own small business selling electronics such as MP3 players, headphones, phone cases, SD cards, stylus pens, possibly tablets and things like that but I'm not sure if I need to acquire any licenses or not and if so what kind. I live in Morehead city in North Carolina so if someone could please help me figure this out it would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Answer
Sometimes it depends if you are in the county or city, whether you are operating from your home or a retail location.
