falken231

The wire comming from my headphones have 3 wires different colors (gold, blue, red)

The new plug im using only has 2 wires (gold and red)

I tried putting red to red and gold to gold.. no sound. I tried just about every combination and nothing. any help?

Answer
You need a stereo plug for your headphones.
The plug your trying to use is only mono!

how to use headphones with an amp with no headphones plug?

Q. Can it be done? I play guitar late into the night and don't want to disturb others.
I want to buy the Vox AC4TV amp and it has no headphone jack.

Answer
Sorry but that model does not have the ability to plug in a pair of headphones to listen.
One option you have is to go ahead and purchase the Vox AC4TV amp for when you want to be heard without headphones. Then also purchase a VOX Headphone Amp for private listening.
Check out the VOX Headphone Amps at http://www.voxamps.com/us/amplug/

A second possible option is to visit http://www.amptone.com/under20wamps.htm to find another low power amp that has a headphone jack. Search that page for the word "headphone".

Good luck.

Speakers still working while headphones are plugged in?

Kiwi_LM

Whenever I plug my headphones into my laptop, the usual happens: the headphones work instead of the external speakers. However, just now, the speakers randomly started working while the headphones are plugged in. Why is this happening, and is there a way of getting it back to normal?

Answer
Headphone jack may be dirty and fail to disconnect speakers. (or connection to headphone jack is not good or plugged in completely)
clean out jack with compressed air or a very small spritz of tuner cleaner

Where is the Headphone plug?

Michael

Hi, I have a Panasonic PT-47WX53, I got this tv recently from my cousin and can't find the headphone/speaker plug. I need help as soon as possible please! Thank you :)

Answer
There is no headphone jack. There are variable/fixed RCA outputs on the rear to connect to a stereo. The owner's manual is at the link below.

Why is my computer speakers playing the radio even though i have headphones plugged in?

Tigerlily

I have headphones plugged into my computer so no sound should be coming out of the speakers. Yet when the speakers are on, I can hear my local radio station playing through the speakers. It plays really softly just barely audible, but it's still weird.

I guess I can just turn off my speakers, but I'd still like to know why this happens.

Answer
Sounds strange to me.
