Believe me when i say this, DON"T!!!!!! i've bought a few bluetooth headphones before and they were all horrible. The main problem i have with them is that they work perfectly fine when you're sitting down and not moving, but the moment you turn your head or walk around the connection drops or it starts to get choppy. This isn't to knock on the manufacturers, the problem lies with the Bluetooth technology which limits the power of the radio to a little more than a maximum distance of a meter. So if you include the signal passing through your body and cloths, you effectively cut the maximum operating range in half. Operating at maximum range is like trying to watch tv with bunny ears antenna when you are on the fringe of a tv tower, most of the picture is static. You would be much better off getting a decent pair of headphones for that budget

Are the iPhone headphones considered Bluetooth?

Hey everyone, I noticed that the headphones my iPhone 4s came with had the volume control button on them, and on the back is this little silver dot. And I tried calling people talking through these headphones, and it works. I just wonder if these headphones are considered bluetooth/ headphones and not just regular headphones.

No, the silver dot is a microphone. Bluetooth headphones are wireless, and usually they don't come in earbuds like the ones apple makes.

A lot of questions...i'll have a go at answering them for you...

Can other people connect to your 'bluetooth headphones'..?
You pair your headphones with the device that you want to listen to...so anyone else that pairs their headphones to the device might be able to listen...not just anybody can listen though when you pair with a device it is like giving permission.

Does sound quality Suffer..?
Yes...although...It isn't really that bad, I personally use the Sony MW600 wireless device with a set of Sennheiser HD25 cans and the sound is pretty good...(very good actually)...the MW600 lets you plug any headphone into it (wired headphone) and turns them into 'wireless headphones'...it isn't that expensive.

Are they worth it..?
It is the same with anything...how much do you value 'wireless'...it is worth it...if you use it...if you have doubts - the Sony MW600 is a good option, it gives you 'wireless' when you want it...if you don't need 'wireless' then just use your headphones normally...into the bargain because it isn't built into a 'headphone' you can pair it with your most comfortable and favourite headphones...you don't get that choice with dedicated 'wireless' headphones.

Do they last longer than wired headphones..?
No...built in rechargeable batteries have a 'lifetime expectancy' and the battery will need to be replaced at some point...it might be more cost-effective just to replace the headphones altogether...and like anything else...you do have to take care of them, listen to your music at sensible levels and pop them into a decent case if you intend to carry them about.

Can you use them with Windows 8..?
There is a problem here...I use my MW600 with Windows 7 and it works perfectly..(brilliantly)...with my Windows 8 some 'bluetooth' devices 'lag' or have a 'delay'...and it doesn't allow you to enjoy your videos or movies as much...the 'delay' - you see the action and then your ears hear it maybe a second or two after you see it...it's weird and I can't handle it...you can listen to music files, no problem though or radio stations...lag is only encountered on 'video'...If you buy from Amazon you could try the product and then return them if you experience the delay.

I honestly can't think of any reason why not...so i'd say yes.

Any advice as to how to cheaply set up two wireless headphones for a home theater setup?

I have a newborn son (10 weeks) and I live in a one bedroom apartment. As my son transitions to his crib, which is in the same room as the home theater system, I want to set up a system whereby my wife and I can put on headphones (two sets total) and hear the TV. This way, the noise will not disturb my son. Don't worry about the lighting situation. I have that covered with some room divider screens.

I had an old device from Woot or something that was basically a bluetooth headset and headphone jack (two different pieces). I can plug the headphone jack into my receiver, sync it with the headphones and successfully watch TV that way...but I only have one set and I am unsure how to find or set up another. I am looking to do this cheap (definitely under $100, but hopefully under $50), and I haven't been able to find another similar product (bluetooth headphone jack/headphones). If I found another one, I'd probably want to buy two to replace my old one, and use a headphone jack splitter, but there may be an easier way.

Any suggestions as to how I can set this up? I don't know much about bluetooth, but are there any systems that can hook up two sets of bluetooth headphones to one bluetooth device broadcasting from the headphones jack (or an alternative jack) on my receiver?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No you can only use one. Sorry. BUT! you can buy an adapter so you can hook up 6 headphones in the adapter than plug the adapter into your phone!
