were a retal headphone store is?

Alex

i want to go to a place were they have tables of headphones all lined up like an apple store or a Microsoft store

Answer
You could go to WalMart, Target, K-Mart to see a selection of headphones (but they will be in sealed cases and you can't try them out).

Or you could go to a high-end audio store and hope they have headphones in your price range (but you should be able to try these headphones out).

Or you could look at lists such as the following based on price-points and buy them over the internet from a reputable dealer, plus you have the option of doing price comparison.

Answer
Well, if you want to find some good headphones at a reasonable or cheap price, then you should check out general electronics stores, like RadioShack or Best Buy/Circuit City. Walmart also carries some interesting headphones like those. I assume you mean the ones that look like DJ headphones... so yeah. Try looking in those places.

Also, some music stores sell instruments along with electronic stuff like recording equipment and producer equipment (such as headphones). Check out yer local music/instrument shops (look fer a Guitar Center or sumn).

I dont know if Target or any other store would normally carry these kind of headphones. The internet is full of them though, ya know...

Good luck.

Headphones?

Isaac Vulc

I have had trouble trying to find good headphones that do not break. I havent been able to find any yet, but this is what I am looking for.

1) Good base
2) Somewhat low priced
3) Good Durability
4) Good Sound quality
5) I like the volume to go up pretty high
6) Around the head
7) decent noise cancelation

What Should I get?

Answer
Walgreen's drug store sells Sony headphones for around $10.00 and another set, also Sony, for about $20.00. Both sound good, but the $20.00 pair are built sturdier, and can handle high volume. The $10.00 pair sound as good as anything I have purchased at Radio Shack. Both are around the head sets. I hate those individual ear headphones. Good Luck!

Where can I find some headphones like Studio Monster beats by dr dre?

best headphone store image

Chuck

Now i see some Monster beats by Dr Dre on ebay for like $160 which looks very good, but i was wondering if they are good as the real monster headphones store. The original prize for the headphone are like $300, so if you know any headphones online shop that are aroound $160-$200 i could probably find them.

Answer
Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Koss, Skullcandy, Skullcrushers and Bose are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!). If REAL quality is an issue, please go for REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Please do not let the peer pressure/fashion fool you because it is very often a waste of money.
