Anyone know about these headphones?!??!?

I really want stylish but good sound quality headphones, but I don't want them to be a lot of money. I went on ifrogz.com and they had these headphones called CS40 headphones. Anyone heard of them? The reviews say they're good, but obviously the website would only put the good reviews up. They look really cute but I want the sound to be good. And they are only $40. Is there a reason they are only $40 and is that reason because they aren't good sound quality. Help.

I have a pair of those earphones that are "hanging" around your ears...But the thing is I don't like the fact that the noise is pretty loud...What I want to know is are headphones better at noise isolation? I want to listen to music but I don't want any "outside" sound to get in the way...How good is the isolation?

After some web surfing, I found these wireless Beats by Dre (I know they're fake), but I can't figure out whether or not this website is real/secure to put my credit card information into.

Can someone help me find proof or anything that can have me rest assured about it. What concerns me is that on the bottom of the page there are 5 "customer reviews" who give the beats 5 stars all around and the reviews sound like sellers!

100% scam.

That is a fake website pretending to sell cheap merchandise.

Any site that advertises merchandise cheaper than the official manufacture's website is a fake site shipping gosh awful crappy knock-offs or simply collecting cash and not even bothering to ship fakes.

The pictures on the site look like the real merchandise because those pictures ARE of the official merchandise. Those pictures were stolen from the official manufacture's website. If you receive anything at all, which is doubtful, it will not resemble those pretty pictures at all.

The payment options say it all, Western Union and bank transfer. The credit card icons are just there for show, that site does not accept credit cards, only anonymous cash payments.

Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.

Your bank can only get your money back if there is money left in the scammer's bank account. Scammers know this and will immediately withdrawal the money you transferred. No money in the account means absolutely no possibility of you getting your hard-earned cash back.

In all seriousness, when something goes wrong, what will you do? Send an email that is ignored and blocked? Send chat requests until you are ip banned? Call internationally and speak fluent Chinese?

The UPS, TNT and DHL icons are there only to take up space, that site only ships with EMS, the Chinese post office, good luck getting the "tracking number" they give you to work on the EMS website. You will need even more luck trying to contact EMS when your tracking stops and your "package" is lost somewhere.

You could then be really lucky, your "package" is discovered, seized by "customs" and all you need to do is pay even more money via Western Union or moneygram to the "custom's official" who uses a free email address just like that site has a free email address as its contact information.

Free email addresses are easy to open and close completely anonymously.

That site is NOT listed on the one official BeatsByDre website so it is definitely selling fake Beats or simply collecting cash and not bothering to ship fakes.

Okay so a lot of my friends are raving about their awesome headphones and how it sounds so awesome. I tried a few of theirs and liked em better than my apple ear-buds. I've decided to get my own but I want to know what specs to look for, so im not just buying randomly

The only measurable specs to headphones are things like frequency response and sensitivity; the important things can't be quantified by a computer.
Audiophiles have an entire encyclopedia of words to describe sound quality, and you can either ask them how good a headphone sounds or try it out yourself. Unfortunately, the try before you buy record store is a dying breed, so unless you can get to 32 Ohm (iirc) in Portland, you have to go off subjective reviews.
Here's a guide from an audiophile website to get you started. If you want more specifics you can post a question or look for reviews.
ps Avoid Beats, Bose, and Skullcandy. If you don't believe me post a question on Head-fi.

What headphones deliver the best bass under 200$?

I'm searching for over the ear headphones that I don't only hear my music but feel it. What I mean I would like headphones that hve a nice boom to the bass. Nothing to the pointer where it distorts the sound. Keep in mind under 200. Thanks!

I am actually in the exact same situation as you: looking for over the ear headphones that have great sound clarity and extremely good sensitivity to bass (nice sound and intenseness from bass.. I am a big techno/ club music fan and I love and appreciate music) and am willing to spend about $150 but will go up slightly if necessary. I've been doing a lot of research and have already tried out some headphones as well as gotten input from a couple of people.
I got some headphones from eh brands that I won't even mention to save time as presents for Christmas and returned them.
I tried out the Bose AE2 headphones for $150, but they weren't good at all... nothing special about them... not good sound clarity and definitely no bass. I then did my own research and decided to either get Grado, Sennheiser, or Shure. I tested out the Grado (80i) and they are nice for classical music or high notes... definitely have sound clarity but they're not so good with bass. They're also open.. meaning that others around you are more likely to hear the sound (this characteristic is better for sound clarity according to physics.. but this attribute then comes down to personal preference).
Next, I tried the Sennheiser 280 Pro and Shure SRH 440. I was in the store listening to the same song and literally switching between the two for the longest time ever. The Shure's had a bittt more sound clarity (hard to notice though.. I have an ear for music though) but I liked the name of Sennheiser better so I was conflicted. The store attendant without a doubt recommended the Shure's though as he said he's been testing variousss models of the Shure's over the years and they are always better. So I took them and indeed they were awesome as well as have a lot more bonuses to them as opposed to the Sennheiser. Both are around $100 (depending on the website.. the Sennheiser's are sometimes listed as up to $20 more expensive.. it's very easy to get them for $100 though and the Shure's for less even). So I had the Shure's at home but I decided that I still wanted more bass and did even more research.
Ultimately, people are recommending the Audio Technica ATH- M50 like no other for bass. Honestly, all the websites that compare the Sennheiser's, Shure's and Audio Technica's recommend the AD's for bass and say it's magnificent. Apparently they're heavier and don't have a detachable cable, but that also comes down to personal preference/ sacrifices. And of course, this is granted within the given price range (mine's a little lower than yours... you might be able to find better headphones that are about $200... even the Sennheiser 880s or something.. up to you). Some of my friends are also recommending the Sony 7506 or AKG 240, but I personally have done no research on them and haven't come in contact with them. Can you plug in headphones to all electric instruments?

I'm a bit confused. There's an electric ukulele that says on its website that you can plug in headphones or an amplifier. I couldn't find any reviews on it, so I'm buying one with many positive reviews. However, on the website that i'm buying it from it doesn't say whether you can plug in headphones. I'm rather new to instruments, so can anyone clarify?

It should be theoretically possible to plug headphones into an instrument that is set up for it... ie, a preamp with enough juice. I would normally expect it to have a specific mic out jack though.

Hmmm. On further thought, I would expect it to be possible, but there has to be enough juice to drive headphones, which would mean a specific type of preamp in the instrument... not the one normally expected in an instrument preamp. If an instrument doesn't specifically say it can, I wouldn't assume it could.

Of course, there are headphones amps out there, so if the instrument is a good one I wouldn't hesitate to do that, too.
