Good Headphones for Electronic Music?

Joe

I am looking for Over ear Headphones priced around $100 ($120 max).
They need to be good for bass since I mostly listen to Trance, Hardcore, Dubstep, and EDM.

So far the only 2 headphones in my category I have found were:
Sennheiser HD 280 Pros
Sony MDR-XB500

Both are online only. If they are more marketed then that's great, because I don't like to purchase things online, Id rather shop and buy something local. If not, its no big deal.

Thanks, All suggestions are good.

Answer
Go for the Sennheisers, Sony is OKAY-ISH ONLY. Besides, music is MUCH MORE than thumping, overpowering, booming bass!

Buying new Headphones- help!?

Carsmypets

Hi guys i am buying new headphones and dont know which one to buy
can u suggest some?

price range is (preferably) up t0 $100 but if absolutely nesecary will got up to 150( but lets not)!

So i like listening to basically all kinds of music but mostly listen to Electronic, dubstep (UKF and Skirllex), Alternative Metal (Linkin Park, Three days grace).

I am looking for headphones the isolate the outside noise, and have a removable cord, just in case the cord breaks.

I also want good frequency range and want them to sound amazing ( close to bose or beats)!!!

Well thank you and hope that you can help me !!! :D

Answer
v-moda lp's are amazing for that kind of music, their supposed to block out outside noise (Doesn't really work) and they have a removeable cable and come with 2 cables.
The frequency doesn't really matter because almost all headphones are 20hz-20kHz and anything lower than 20hz and higher than 20kHz usually can't be heard.
