How can i use my ipod headphones for...?

i wanna plug my ipod headphones(with a mic attached) in to my computer some how and use it as a mic and add narration into windows movie maker. how do i do that? explain in detail so i can understand how to do this.

iPod headphones are made for the iPod only - to record sound using a computer you must have a jack or usb microphone which plugs into a separate slot to the iPod connector, which plugs only into the headphone port.

Q. i have a jailbroken ipod touch and whenever i listen to music only one headphone works, i've tried different headphones and it still does it. Im wonderin of its a 3rd party app or is it my ipod. Is there a way to fix it?

if you have tried several headphones, and it still doesn't work, then your iPod headphone jack is broken. i recommend buying a jack off of ebay for $20 including shipping/jack/tools to install.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM HONG KONG! I had to replace mine and it broke again a couple of months later..

it's also much cheaper than sending it to apple. i couldn't find a guide for the iPod touch but i attached a guide for a 5th generation iPod video, so this should lead you in the right direction. if i were you, i'd get one of my friends who's a tech-junkie to do it.

if you still don't feel safe about it, or don't trust my advice. go to an apple store and let them examine it. i bet they'll tell you they have to ship it away and you'll have to pay some outrageous price for it.

Using iPhone headphones with ps3?

No, headphones won't do that for two reasons:

1. The PS3 has no headphone jack to plug the headphones into.
2. Sony designed the PS3 to use wireless Bluetooth headsets, or USB headsets.

Your thinking of a Bluetooth headset, but simply misunderstood it for headphones (which is no big deal). The only thing that will do what you want with a PS3 are one of those two things. Get the Official Bluetooth Headset from Sony for the PS3 though. It was specifically designed for the PS3, and it's also universal (meaning you can use it for more than just your PS3). Make sure the headset is version 2.0 if you decide to go with another brand of Bluetooth headset though, or it won't be compatible with the PS3.

Q. hi, I am getting Dr Dre beats earphones for xmas and an iphone 2g (i know its old but ow well). Will they fit in the resests headphone jack in the iphone 2g as the dr dre earphones are made for iphone please reply??

i vaguely remember that iphone 2g headphones must Apple headphones only... it wont work with any other headphones unless it has an adaptor...
